PTO Policy Clarification

The new PTO policy that became effective on June 1, 2017, and was made available to full-time captain status employees under the updated pay status effective date. What this means is:

The PTO benefit became available on June 1. 2017.

The PTO Benefit became available to all new pay plan full-time Captain status employees.

Redemption of PTO benefits become available to use 365 days after a full-time Captain has met the requirements for attaining the new Pay Plan status.

Note: All eligible employees will be eligible to “Cash Out” PTO  during the defined time frame of time off requests (The Slow Season) and still make themselves available for any and all work.
